We continue our Horror Review by adding another game to our Top 10!
Of course we could not miss Betrayal at the House on the Hill, the game with the mysterious house where your company enters to explore it but eventually the story ends in the tragedy of betrayal ... and the game begins!
Betrayal at the House on the Hill quickly builds agony and excitement as players explore the haunted mansion encountering scary creatures, cursed ghosts and eerie horrors!
The game is played from 3 to 6 players and the creation of the mansion unfolds slowly to the players as they search for the root of the curse!
But they do not know that one of the players is a traitor and has brought them here for his own perverted reasons.
Once the traitor is revealed then the real game begins as the other players try to survive, united or each for himself !!
Each game is a different story through the rulebook with 50 different scenarios! Yes you read that right! 50! The game really puts you in the skin of the role as it gives you a rulebook for the survivors and one for the traitor that depending on the scenario each side has a different goal to win the game.
It should be noted here that the game carries 15 years on its back, and yet it continues to win the love of the world and you play to this day !!
With an excellent 10 we put it at 8 as we believe that the quality of price materials does not fully correspond.
Another perhaps negative for some is that the use of English is very important as there is enough flavor text but the goals of the players (survivors, traitor) have a lot to read !!
On the plus side, there are 50 different scenarios that give the game great replay-ability, but even if that's not enough you can buy the Betrayal at the House on the Hill - Widow's Walk expansion which gives another 50 scenarios! !
Finally there is the new version,Betrayal Legacy which gives a fairly large one shot script that will leave you with your mouth open !!
